Hahaha ok, so I started back at TAFE and have already fallen behind in keeping this up to date (good one jess). In my own defence (defending myself against myself, I’m on a roll) we got hit with the mammoth task of designing an entire mardi gras float and performance concept as soon as we got back 2 weeks ago, and only had the final designs approved last week so we only have this week to BUILD THE FLOAT and make all the props, get our routine sorted out and not be tired come the actual event on Saturday. All of this on top of our normal classes and homework we have to do.

In saying this we are over-the-moon-and-back-all-the-way-to-the-earth’s-core excited about being in the MARDI GRAS and the fact we are the 3RD float in the queue, making us the float that is NEXT IN LINE AFTER KYLIE, that’s right, we’ll be dancing our way up the street right behind Kylie’s butt. (I’m not a massive fan, but, seriously, IT’S KYLIE MINOUGE!!)

My next post will be a SOUNDWAVE appreciation post, documenting my first ever music festival experience! Super excited about this one! :D
